Intro Project at Konstfack
My third year at Konstfack began with a very free first assignment. Teaming up with other students, this was our result.
We invented a weird Frank Zappa inspired world where these band of bikers hung out. Reading out of a paper of wisdom we began telling our story: "Lucy, the first Human was our mother, the Crocodile was our father."

An unexpected adventure drawing
A few days ago I went out to the park to get some inspiration. As I sat there in the sun, drawing, this kid came by. Before long we started collaborating in this huge adventure drawing. I was making the knight with the dragon spiked spear and my collaborator was making the red dragon.
I followed up with an elf princess and a jester magician, but against the monster with golden spikes they had no chance. From the mountain halls a dwarf joined the fight, but the red dragon had no problem handling him too. Then, smashing all hope, the flying golden monster showed up. The knight called out to the eagle and the fairy, but the odds were too great.
The boy, with his dragon pack, was victorious. After all that fun, he got the drawing but I took a picture of it. Here it is.

Egypt's Nasser
Since I posted the Capitalists I have been toying with how I would continue the series. What political trios from the twentieth century would suit the concept?
One idea I find tempting is drawing the Arabs including Nasser, Arafat and possibly a young Ghaddafi or Saddam Hussein. That leads inevitably to The Israelis with Ben-Gurion, Golda Meir and Yitzhak Rabin. Another trail would be Democratic Martyrs with Iran's Mossadeq, Chile's Allende and I guess South Africa's Mandela (or Olof Palme). Germany could be West's Adenauer and Willy Brandt and DDR's Ulbricht and Honecker.
But for now, I can only give you Egypt's national father figure and the father of Pan-Arabism: Gamal Abdel Nasser, in glowing RGB and rich CMYK.
